On February 20th, the 2,000-ton powder production project of Suzhou Sanrui Baide officially broke ground. The project is located in Zone V of Suzhou Nano City. After completion, it is expected to produce 2,000 tons of sub-micron spherical silica powder annually and is expected to achieve a cumulative revenue of over 300 million yuan in the next three years.



Suzhou Sanrui Baide New Materials Co., Ltd. has a registered capital of 24,681,440 yuan. It is a national high-tech enterprise, a technology-based and innovative small and medium-sized enterprise. It is one of only two enterprises in the world and the only one in China that possesses the complete set of production technology for sub-micron ultrafine spherical alumina/silicon powder materials by direct combustion method. The products include spherical oxide powders such as alumina, silicon oxide, magnesium oxide and titanium oxide, as well as spherical composite powders such as aluminum-magnesium spinel and ZTA.


Up to now, it has an annual production capacity of 1,000 tons of spherical powders produced by various direct combustion methods. Its independently developed patented product - sub-micron ultrafine spherical alumina/silicon powder, has broken through the "bottleneck" of foreign countries on the same series of products in China. The product has been widely applied in high-tech fields such as epoxy resin molding compound (EMC) for advanced semiconductor packaging, copper clad laminate (CCL), and thermal conductivity.


After more than ten years of meticulous cultivation and concentrated development, Suzhou Industrial Park has become a leading domestic highland for the aggregation of talents and industries in nano-new materials. In 2021, the Suzhou Nami New Materials Cluster, with Suzhou Industrial Park as its core area, was successfully selected as one of the first batch of national advanced manufacturing clusters, with a total scale accounting for approximately 30% of the national total.


For many years, Suzhou Nano City has focused on four major fields: third-generation semiconductors, micro-nano manufacturing, nano functional materials, and nano health. It has built a complete industrial innovation ecosystem for the application of nanotechnology and achieved remarkable results in creating innovation carrier platforms, gathering high-level innovative enterprises, introducing high-level scientific research talents, and breaking through key core technologies. Currently, more than 550 enterprises have settled in. Five listed companies including Nanomicro Technology and Minxin Semiconductor have been cultivated. National-level "little giants" specializing in niche markets such as Nanomicro Technology and Tongli Optoelectronics have emerged, as well as multiple headquarters enterprises at various levels including Nanomicro Technology and Nanxin Microelectronics. Major innovation carriers such as the National Third Generation Semiconductor Technology Innovation Center have been established. It has gathered over 10 public technology platforms such as the micro-nano electromechanical manufacturing pilot platform, material analysis and failure analysis service platform, Suzhou intelligent integrated Testing Technology Center, and plasmid resource sharing platform, creating an industrial investment ecosystem centered on nanotechnology. An industrial innovation cluster has taken shape It has successively been awarded national titles such as "Outstanding Park for High-Quality Development of China's Integrated Circuit Industry", "National High-End Talent Leading Characteristic Carrier", "New Overseas Chinese Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base of the All-China Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese", "National Demonstration Unit for Public Services for Overseas Chinese", "National Technology Business Incubator", and "National Model Park for Harmonious Labor Relations", and is hailed as one of the world's top five nanotechnology industrial clusters.


In the future, Suzhou Nano City will further enhance cooperation and exchanges between research institutions of nano new materials and related upstream and downstream enterprises, encourage cross-border integration of nano new materials with new energy, biomedicine, aerospace and other fields, continuously build a more complete industrial ecosystem of nano new materials, and strive to improve the core competitiveness and scale level of the industry.
